Maybe a solution to fresh water problems on Earth.

This discovery could be one of many in the search for fresh water.  There is a crisis in the amount of good fresh water on the planet.  Between finding new huge reservoirs and desalinization there may be an end to the shortage of good drinking water on Earth.
